Digital Learning in Libraries focuses on gathering, developing and testing library oriented learning methods relating to new media and technologies.
The project vision is to expand the concepts of learning and competencies to include the library learning mediated through large screen displays, mobile phones, podcasts, video etc.
In other words, Digital Learning in Libraries is conveying the intention of moving out of the classrooms and on to more individualized and flexible technological platforms.
The project, which is subsidized by The Danish Agency for Libraries and Media, was launched in august 2008 and terminates ultimo 2009.
